In whichever Address you may be residing,
Most likely the United States of America
(Unless you took my advice to go to hell
(Sorry about that by the way.))
I traveled to the end of the earth,
not alone but accompanied by turning
winds of November’s Spring. You would
not like it here. Everything is gorgeous
and full of chance and possibility.
I first stepped here with forgotten kisses
riding heavy in my back, but now here I
stand, unplanned and unpacked, traveling
without map or compass. With or without you,
north or south, it is always ending.
Ending and ending as the Atlantic
and the Pacific meet. With continuous new
currents meeting in Chile’s divide.
Hidden waves, well traveled,
here I escaped.
